I used photoshop elements to create my artwork. I sized my actual picture smaller than the canvas size. I purchased the 20x30 but my picture was sized at 16 x 24. Then I filled all the area outside of the picture with a complementary color from the picture thus creating a 20x30 image. When I got the canvas, I purchased canvas framing pieces at a local art and craft store for about $8 and stretched and stapled the canvas...looks like a pro-stretched art canvas. I sprayed the canvas with several coats of UV fixative from the art store also.

Does anyone know how to get the canvas to go vertically? I've changed the orientation and it does nothing for my picture but move it sideways or upside down. I've seen other people do it in the gallery's but haven't quite got it.

Take note--the image is printed right up to the edge of the canvas when it's made "un-stretched". There is no white margin to use to stretch it yourself. The canvas quality and color quality is great--get a stretched one and put it right up on your wall easy peasy. Make sure you have about 2 inches of background on all edges so you don't have any of your main subject wrapped around the side. Also give an extra bit of space just in case the canvas shifts a bit on the machine.

Awesome, awesome, and more awesome! These reviews tell it all. I also learned something from them too. Scotch Guard them! I bought 6 of these canvas' and am totally pleased! More than I thought I would be!!! Thanks www.artscow.com for a fabulous product!

Added note:

If you use the iron-on vinyl, this also reduces the risk of nicking your ink.
With scotch guard, you can still "accidently" scratch the ink.
This way, when you are attempting to your canvas on it's frame, you will not damage the canvas while it is on it's face being worked on!

Good luck!

The printing is very nice.
But DO NOT TOUCH the ink, it will rub off immediately.
For the price your not going to get archival pigment. It is still a good deal for canvas.

I love this product and so does everyone I show it to! Resolution does not need to meet Artscow specifications in order to look great. Canvas and colors are wonderful. Looks like it cost a fortune. DO scotchguard for protection though. Otherwise your colors will run if it gets wet!

If I were to order this product how would I get it mounted with the canvas appearance instead of having it framed on the wall?

I just received my 2 16x20 canvas pictures. Quality is great but I thought it was coming on a frame. Does anyone know a cheap place to mount these pictures, I don't want to put it in a frame as that defeats the purpose of canvas. Help would be greatly appreciated.
